Amie has joined our team this year and she is off to the races! If we were in Kentucky, we’d say she’s in the running for a Triple crown this year. She has only been here a short while and has already shown her true colors as a helpful, hardworking, and kind addition to the team who is always willing to share her knowledge.
Working with numbers, problem solving, and learning new things are some of Amie’s favorite pastimes, so it is no wonder she found herself in the accounting industry. When her husband ventured into self-employment many years ago, she dove right into figuring out bookkeeping, payroll, and everything that comes with the financial side of business upkeep. Since then, she has grown her career through taking classes and holding administrator and bookkeeping positions in various industries, which have all paved the way for her success working as a staff accountant over the past five years. Presently, Amie has found her niche in construction accounting, with an incredible ability to tackle any project that comes her way and an excellent track record of finding solutions and figuring out a way forward with her clients.
Off the clock, she enjoys staying active and spend time with her loved ones. If the weather in her hometown allows it, Amie can be found on a walk, hike, or bike ride with her husband and beloved Springer Spaniel, Hank. She might even be teaching a spin class in her backyard!
